I am very happy to present the “Linens for Life™ by Diversey” catalog, an initiative that combines sustainability, creative textile upcycling, and women empowerment within the community.
This project is carried out together with the women’s group from Kashar, known as “Kashar Craft Women” — a group dedicated to craftsmanship, sustainability, and creating new opportunities through skilled handmade work.
The three women involved in this project previously worked as seamstresses in a garment factory. Due to the closure of the factory, they became unemployed. Through the “Linens for Life” initiative, I engaged them in this project to provide a new opportunity for employment and personal development.
They have attended working sessions at the E.GJ Academy, working 8 hours per day, twice a week. So far, we have completed 8 sewing sessions, and the current products are presentation samples created for demonstration purposes.
The logos and designs will be customized and adapted according to client requirements, creating unique and functional products with a meaningful story behind them.
This project is an example of how sustainability can create not only beautiful products, but also social impact and new opportunities for the community.
