Final delivery of 300 additional Linens for Life™ tote bags to MELIÃ DURRËS ALBANIA

Today we completed the final delivery of 300 additional Linens for Life™ tote bags to MELIÃ DURRËS ALBANIA, successfully reaching the project’s target of 500 reusable bags.

What started as 100 kg of end-of-life hotel linens has now been transformed into practical and sustainable products, giving hotel textiles a second life and demonstrating how circular economy initiatives can create tangible environmental and social benefits.

Linens for Life™ – Final Project Results

✔ 100 kg of hotel textiles collected and prepared for reuse
✔ 500 reusable tote bags produced and delivered
✔ 3 women from Kashar Craft Women involved in production
✔ 14 days of project implementation
✔ 210 volunteer working hours contributed
✔ Hotel linens diverted from waste and repurposed into useful products
